Divi WordPress Theme
Divi is a WordPress theme that web designers do not want you to know. It comes with a drag-and-drop theme builder. You can build beautiful looking unique websites without touching a line of code. Just choose from one of the many pre-made layouts, or pick elements and arrange them any way you like.

Divi is every WordPress developer's wet dream. Surprise your clients with neat responsive websites and have fun building them.

Divi comes from Elegant Themes. If you enjoy building websites, you *need* an Elegant Themes membership. 87 beautiful themes and 5 plugins for the cost of less than a candy-bar each!

Note: I am an avid user of Divi myself and this is a honest review. I wouldn't recommend something that I do not personally find amazing.

Good insights and examples by Manish,Especially in this current scenario, this is a great tips one may follow.

  2. TheAnand says:

I invested 4 lacs into the equity and the current value is less than a lac…waiting for the market to get on its knees again to sell all my stocks!

    • Sriraj says:

Thats what the post explained. Never put all your money in one segment. Distribute as much as possible, which means less losses in adversities.

      • TheAnand says:

@Sriraj, my investment was in equities and are in a lot of different companies.

@Manish, I am currently buying too πŸ™‚ I was buying back then too(when sensex was 20k+)…Currently my problem being a small liquidity crisis due to ahangaarams.. πŸ™‚

        • I bet most of the readers are going to wonder what that last word is.. lol..
Sorry guys, I cant tell you what that is.. πŸ™‚ Hint: its a malayalam word πŸ˜›

  3. Manish says:

@George Thanks man … Btw , its not only for this currect scenario … Its applicable for all the time .

@Anand : This is a classic example of “emotional” investing … You should have sold your investments when it was around 3.5 or 3 lacs max . If you had done that , you could have again reinvested your money at proper time and could have taken advatage of situation .. btw, now its perfect time to buy , so better hold it now …

@Sriraj Yes , Diversification helps .. but make sure you do no overdiversify . Also putting money in different things will not help if those things are corelated . These things much have no corelation or negative corealtion .

  4. I too support diversification. Bloggers are always advised to source their income from multiple sources so that, even if one goes down there is another.

For example, if they use both Adsense and Affiliates, they will still earn even if they get banned from Adsense.

And as far as I know Anand is a great example for income diversification! πŸ™‚

@Manish: Really appreciate your replies, thats the perfect example for a ideal guest-author!

    Cheers…

@TheAnand , Great … buying at all levels is fine , if you are building your overall portfolio for long term (10+ years)

@Arun : You can read some other articles on my blog , btw , i can guess that word , because it comes from hindo word “ahaankar” , which means EGO !! … may be i am right .

@ALL , this post is not only for stock market investment , but for all types of investments . It can be mutual funds , Insurance, ULIP m health insurance , FD or anyting … dont just see it from Stock market point .

    Cheers πŸ™‚

    @Sriraj

hey .. dont worry man … its originally written by me only πŸ™‚

    Manish

    • Sriraj says:

I said with all due respect to you. But how about the links given by Anand?

      • Yeah, Anand found the other copies of the same article, thats why I took down the post. Initially when the comment from @AnonyJoe came, I thought it was a hoax comment and left it there just for fun, but things got worse. πŸ™

Its all sorted out now I think. Thanks a million for the support πŸ™‚

  9. TheAnand says:

But if you are going around posting your own content on a ton of other sites including your own, it does not benefit you or Arun. It does hurt bad, your credibility as a blogger πŸ™‚

    link 1

    link 2

    link 3

    link 4

    and a million pages.

  10. Thanks to @Anand and for the links and @Sriraj for the support. As @AnonyJoe pointed out, it is defenitely pre-published. Learnt the lesson, the hard way πŸ™‚

Lets see what Manish has to say…

  11. Manish says:

ok guys , all the first 3 links link1 link2 link3 are my own pages on hubpages , my blog and my silicon blog page , link4 is some one else who copied my content .

May be this confusion has happened , because i am myself not aware of this “un-professional” behaviour . To me this appears as a way of sharing the content to most of the people who are not connected to different sites .

If it was against Arun’s blog rules , then I have to apologize for my ignorance . All the “credibility” issue should be with me and not Arun.

Btw , Apart from Search engine indexing issue , Can others share whats the issue with sharing my article with some other site , where other readers can read it and get to know about some good site and its content ?

I might require to know this to do this blunder in future .

@Arun , sorry Dude , it was totoally unintentional and because of ignorance . I appologize for any harm.

    Manish

    • Manish,

The harm was only minimal, thanks to the timely response of Anand and Sriraj, I could get it sorted before anything worse happened.
From your comment before, its clear that you were not aware of that guest posting ethic. Its not my rule, its a common one. You are not supposed to send Pre-Published matter as a guest post.

There is no other issue if you publish your article over and over in your own blogs, but never send them as guest posts to other blogs.
For instance, a vistor to my blog will think that you I copied it from your blog, but if its on your own blogs, no one will ask. It might put the Host blog in trouble.

Anyway I am going to write this story for the benefit of others, I will not de-glamourize you. πŸ™‚

    • Sriraj says:

      Manish,
There is no harm in sharing your articles with others or other sites, but not in this manner. No body likes to see a double content, certainly not search bots.
Instead you could just rephrase the first few lines of your original post and put a link back to original post (If Arun accepts, that is). You could do this in your own pages like in your Hub pages where you write about something and put a link back (follow) to original post. But while guest-posting, this is un acceptable. Any way, you said you’re not aware of this, so…

      • Manish says:

thanks guys … I will not make that mistake again . That means , even my site is getting harm , because i have put that same content at more than 1 place . I learned a lot from this.

Thanks to all of you .

        Manish

        • Yeah, that was a lesson for all of us. Am glad that you took the moral, I am taking my morals too.. πŸ™‚
@Sriraj said some valid points here. Though some bloggers have multiple blogs with the same content, I personally suggest that you keep only one copy to be safe. Afterall there is no point in creating duplicate content.

          Good luck Manish! πŸ™‚

      • social media says:

        @Sriraj:

very intriguing comment. specially from you, whose blog is filled with copied or duplicate RSS? you talking about orgiinality and uniquensss is a joke….

  12. TIP Guy says:

    Folks,

Very interesting discussion. And I must say I like the part where the group focused on maintaining originality.

However, if duplicating posts are bad (search bots or google dings, etc.,), how come seekingalpha, istockanalyst, ezinearticles, and many more, are not getting dinged. Is there a way out? or is there a method to madness?

what i have observed is it depends upon whether it is being attributed to the original location? i seen many provide reference either on first line or last line?
Is that correct ? does that make sense to this group?

I would like to know your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    • Hey,

      Thanks for dropping in.

I am not sure how ezine articles and the link say safe, but anyway, that kind of plan doesnt go on smaller sites anyway. The web is not that democratic πŸ˜‰
Attribution doesnt solve the issue as such, some spam blogs also attribute to the author and still get black listed.

To be safe, as long as we are not Digg or Ezine Articles, its better to not copy content. For SEO, even multiple copies within the same blog are considered bad..right..?

      Be unique!

I guess the group went silent after the post was taken down. I was away too, sorry for the delay.

      Thanks,

  13. Arun why don’t you try your hands on forums also ? πŸ˜‰
