I recently published the load time optimization report for a client where I achieved a load time reduction by 45%.
I also worked on re-designing their WordPress website. Their in-house design team sent me the new design and I coded it using WordPress as the CMS.
The main focuses of the re-design process were:
- Speed – The client had advertising campaigns coming up and wanted the new design up and running in 48 hours.
- Mobile Responsiveness – Most of the users were coming from mobile devices with smaller screens.
- Dynamicity – Since the old website wasn’t dynamic, the client couldn’t update content without a developer doing it for him.
Without proper documentation, it was very hard to squeeze everything to the given time-frame. Working overtime, I was able to complete the basic necessities in time to run the ad campaign.

I also developed a custom plugin that adds features to the new theme. Having a starter plugin saved me hours in development time and it is well documented for a new developer to extend it further.
