Twitter has now been used by many to get more traction when it comes to traffic. It can be an excellent way to get better SEO. Social media is now a very important aspect that needs to be used more.

If its about a single person, the way you said @Name of Blog is great, and probably that is what I would do. It makes more sense. I don't like using pipes.
But if you happen to mention a lot of people, as I do on my personal blog kuttappi.com, then @firstPerson of HisBlog and @secondPerson of His Blog would be awkward ;)

Creative use of the Twitter handle, plus it's always good to direct users to your site and then have a large Twitter icon in your sidebar so they can easily follow you :)

I'd prefer that link names point to the blog which is where you find out more about the blogger/marketer/designer. You're probably mentioning the person in terms of their blogging, not twittering. So why introduce the Twitter name at this point? Leaving twitter names on a guest post is different --- the post tells a lot about the blogger...

That being said, your solution is creative!

What about both? @ArunBasilLal of Million Clues where the link is on the blog name?
or @ArunBasilLal | Million Clues?
