Hmm, Thats something which I never tried before, leaving categories should also work. The idea is to lure in readers by instantly making them know of what to expect. A homepage link says nothing (unless the domain name have some keywords), but a specific link has it all.

Yeah, A Visitor Saved is a Visitor Earned
Email footers work, I have tried tracking them and at those times they even work better. If you are active in a mailing group, you really get lots of visits via Footers, but in the friends circle they are always overseen.

In my case, I always love people having those footers, it gives me more chance to know about the person. And I always digg into the person (esp Clients) before replying. It helps

What about the idea of linking to a category instead of a post, say when ever I talk on a linux forum I use to give [...link...]
and while commenting on a blog like this use to give
[...link...]

I’ve tried many times utilizing email footer, so far it’s my best shot. It’s often overlooked by many receivers of the email, but few might glance and click the link on the footer.

Not the best way, but a visitor is a visitor.

Just don’t spam links on your email footer lol.

Great! I am sure that would work better than a homepage link where the user would be clueless. A welcome page should work. I understand that may is going to be a Twitter month @ StandOutBlogger, hope you include links to this months post also on the welcome page

commenting with Linking to your post URL is always tricky and useful but linking to your about me page, haven’t tried yet. tell me how its working.
