The Ultimate Typing Tutor Keyboard

Ever tried learning typing using a Typing Tutor Software? When I was getting my typing lessons, I was told that I shouldn’t look at my keyboard, even if I am doing it all worng.

Well, that doesn’t work easily, unless you have military level of discipline, you are gonna look over and over to find the o’s and the w’s.

The solution? The Ultimate Typing Tutor keyboard:

Learn Shorthand Typing - No Escape!

Learn Typing Faster than you think - You got no choice

(All keys are not photoshop-ped. Some keys were actually losing their imprints and hence the inspiration.)

Wish I could send all my twitter friends this keyboard, so that they can tweet faster ;)

What do you think? Such a keyboard would defenitely help anyone learn typing; Necessity will become the mother of invention… right?

The human brain formulates the sentences based on whats written out already, so if we close our eyes, we wont get the visual feedback, means our sentences would be imperfect. I think so :D

Back in the olden days when they taught typing in US high schools, keyboards didn’t have letters on them. You were expected to learn something called “touch typing” and you were expected to type 60 some words per minute! (Kinda like “touch” piano playing I think.)

In spite of that, I’m still not a good typist and have to cheat and look sometimes and I’m no where near 60 words per minute.

Lol, I think most of us cheat while typing. I am cool with the alpha-numerics, but the symbols are always hard to find for me…
BTW, they used to teach typing at school..? That’s news for me. I attended a typing school to have my lessons, dropped out when I could type 20 wpm ;)

Good to see you here, Welcome :)

I haven’t removed my keyboard cover till now. It had been 2 years since i bought it still looks as new.

Typing Master is a very good software. I have been using it for long time and also now. It helped me a lot to improve my typing speed.

Typing Master is the one with some typing games..right..? I never used the software, but I had it on my pc to play those games :P
I used to do an exercise to improve speed: I would type down song lyrics when the song is being played. Definitely helped me :)

It was my Dad’s brother who advised me to learn typing. I always do whatever he tells me. If I hadn’t learnt typing, I wouldn’t be blogging, maybe..

I like to share one tip to improve typing speed for symbols.

Try to type the emoticon and smiley symbols in IMs like Yahoo ! Messenger rather than selecting them from the panel.

    That helped me a lot ! ;)

Best way to cheat is to use a Dictation type of software! Le the computer do the hard, boring stuff – isn’t that what it is supposed to be for?

Then blogging can be that I can lie on the floor and dictate to my computer…

    :-)
